All new clients MUST agree to all of these things before I will babysit for you.
1.) I am a mandated reporter of abuse and neglect. If I see tangible signs of either, I am required by law to make a report to the proper authorities.
2.) LATE FEE: I am booked for a specific timeframe, so please do your best to book for the correct times. I charge a late fee of $1 per minute per child. This does still apply even if they are asleep. I would rather you book me for more time than you need.
3.) EARLY RELEASE PAYMENT: If you come home early, I will be paid to the next 15 minutes. (ex. If you come home at 10:35pm, I will be paid up to 10:45pm).
4.) CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel services, please let me know as soon as possible. If you cancel earlier than 3 days before, no cancellation fee will be required. Cancellation of services between 72 and 24 hours before will constitute a cancellation fee of 1 hour's wages. If you cancel within 24 hours, I will be paid 1/2 the total amount quoted for the night. * I completely understand that emergencies happen, and if you're honest with me, I will often work with you. However, my time should be valued as well.
** I try my best to help in this regard by confirming with you the day before or the morning of. *** If you choose to not pay the cancellation fee, I will no longer provide services until it is paid up.
5.) Even if asked to, I will never punish a child with forced isolation, physical pain or discomfort, yelling/berating, or anything of the sort. An outline of my discipline style can be found of the About page.
6.) I will abide by any routine set in place as long as it is safe. (ex. I will not put toys/blankets/pillows in a crib with an infant, I will not feed a toddler unsafe foods like popcorn or uncut grapes, etc.)
When booking for the first time, you will be sent a questionnaire to fill out that will ask if you've read and agreed to these policies! I will also provide a physical document to be signed upon arrival at your first booking!
